Book Sale and Silent Auction
Saturday February 18th from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Winter book sale at the library. New - This year we will be including a silent auction along with the booksale!

We're looking for your donations to include with our silent auction!
If you'd like to contribute something to the auction, please contact
Carol Campbell or John Winslow.

Here are a few items that will be included in the auction:

  1. An Elegant Dinner with a View: Dinner for six at the Winslow’s home in Manchester. We’ll start off with light hors ‘d oeuvres and wine/beer. The meal will start with a fresh salad accompanied by a white wine; the dinner entrée will be Pork tenderloin with both white and a red wine…. Fresh vegetables, a starch, and bread. The meal will conclude with a stunning dessert….and coffee or tea. Date by mutual agreement.
  2. Wines from Around the World: We’ll have several mixed wine selections grouped in baskets of three wines each.
  3. Fresh Crab: You’ll have three local crab pulled from the depths of Puget Sound near Manchester, and as fresh as it can be. We’ll deliver it the day it’s caught and either so fresh it’s still crawling, or we will clean and cook it for you immediately prior to delivery during July or August.
  4. Cinnamon Whirligig Bread: Three loaves of fresh homemade cinnamon swirl bread with an exotic hint of cardamom. One loaf delivered each month in February, April, and June.
  5. Japanese Sword Set
  6. Sacajawea Dollars: boxed set in mint condition

Spring Plant Sale

Our annual plant and book sale will be April 28 -- PLANTS NEEDED!!
Start thinking about potting up plants from your gardens to be donated to the sale. You can bring them to Carol Campbell (or to the library) and she will bring them home to take care of them until the sale. Contact Carol at 871-7820 or by email.
