The Manchester Community Plan is in need of updating, and members of the community are now working with Kitsap County to come up with the appropriate revisions.
All Manchester residents are encouraged to get involved in this very important process!
Meetings are planned for the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the County Building Commissioner's Chambers at 6:30 pm.
Groups have been formed to discuss the various sections of the Plan
that need to be revised, including:Natural Systems
Zoning and Development Regulations
Transportation
Public Infrastructure
Public Facilities and Parks
Please visit the county's website for more information about the Plan, including zoning maps and meeting dates.
Attached are minutes from the County meeting that John Winslow (Member-at-Large: Manchester Community Council) took during the proceedings on Tuesday 3/27. This was originally "billed" as an MCC meeting, but really ended up being all County. Please consider these minutes as an inexact summary of what was said, but it gives you an early feel for the flow of the meeting, which most attendees felt pretty well expressed the thoughts of the community. The County has posted detailed written minutes on their website (at the above link).
