MCP&PSG 8-12-08 WEEKLY TUESDAY COFFEE & DISCUSSION 6:45AM, MANCHESTER FAMILY INN

 

Hope you can make this weeks meeting.      We will have a number of topics to report on following the Monday 8-11-08 Port of Manchester Commissioners meeting, lots of projects underway.     Also would like to have each of our active group participants think of ideas for GUEST SPEAKERS, that you would like to have join us at one of our meetings.    It is time to setup out fall meeting schedule for important safety issues within our community.

 

ANNOUNCEMENT #1..............    The August 11th Port Commissioners meeting will be held at 6:30PM at the Manchester Library.    Join us and learn how you can become involved in the Port Advisory Committee, working towards common community goals alongside the Commissioners and local organizations.

 

ANNOUNCEMENT #2..............    The next Port of Manchester User Survey will be held on Saturday, August 16th at the boat launch and at Pomeroy Park.   The following surveyors will be filling shifts at both location, and we are looking for additional assistance.   How about you?   This is a reminder for those of you who have already signed up for a shift at the launch or the park.

ANNOUNCEMENT #3..............Next Port Advisory Committee meeting will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2008, 5:30PM, at the Manchester Library.     We will have updates on a number of committee interests, including the Japanese Knotweed cleanup.    Development of a garden/seating area on the bare slope between the North and South piers at the Port of Manchester.    Progress on Manchester village signage planning for Mile Hill/Colchester and Miracle Mile.  The options are many and the designer of the original sign at Miracle Mile is meeting with the signage committee this week.    

 

Don't forget, your ideas and involvement are important to Manchester.
