Our Manchester neighborhoods are rich with current
connections to a remarkable past. Please join us for the telling,
listening and recording of tales and memories. We are a fledgling
group with the ultimate goal for a permanent museum where treasures
from the past can be shared with all. If you're interested in getting involved in
the Manchester Historical Society, they would love to have you join
their meetings. People are encouraged to bring historical photos,
articles or a good historical story to share.

Bob Ballard has some wonderful old photos
of Manchester on his
Manchester Realty website - it is very interesting to spend
some time with these "Manchester Memories."

Find out some interesting facts about
Manchester's history on our "Did You
Know?" page.

If you'd like to find out more about
Kitsap County's history, there is a great summer reading list on
the "Kitsap Historical
Bibliography," compiled by noted Kitsap historian, Fredi
Perry.
MEETINGS:
The Manchester Historical Society usually
meets quarterly, on the fourth Thursday of the third month each
quarter from 6-8pm, at the library.
