More about the speakers...

Stephanie Goodin has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 1994 when she graduated from the Seattle Massage School.  She has practiced full time for the last two years in Port Orchard and Manchester.  Patricia Grimes, a retired Social Worker (MSW, ACSW) has traveled extensively studying meditation and then teaching meditation classes. She had a clinical practice in Seattle for over 30 years where she utilized meditation in nearly all aspects of her work.

You will learn how to relax your mind and body through techniques used in Reflexology and Meditation in just a few minutes a day.  Reflexology uses hand massage to stimulate healing and relaxation in the body.  Learn Reflexology by massaging areas on the hands that correspond with regions and organs of the body to boost the immune system and reduce negative stress.  This do-it-yourself therapy can improve circulation, enhance relaxation, reduce body tension and promote wellbeing.

Meditation has been practiced in all cultures throughout the ages.  In our chaotic culture it might seem as if there is no time for one more thing on our busy schedule.  Yet adding meditation could be the gateway to better health, a peaceful mind, and a more joyful and loving state of being.  Most of us take our breath for granted.  It is the most powerful element of our existence.  We have all heard the expression "breathe of life."  To breathe is to live and our breath is a tool we could use to change our lives.

MANCHESTER MEDICAL

Wondering about the new doctor in town?

Dr. Sharman's specialty is Internal Medicine. He is seeing patients every Wednesday, and provide primary care for adults.  Jocelyn DelaRosa is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner caring for adults, and will see patients on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  At this time, Dr Sharman is actively searching for another physician so that they can be available in the clinic everyday.  They are hoping to have an open house in the next couple of months and will let us know when.
